English Language Arts / Reading

Offering a structured and sequential intervention program, GLC helps struggling students become proficient readers. Students develop competence in core reading skills through focused training in phonemic awareness, phonics and decoding, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension.

Global Learning Center uses the only intervention solution that trains sub-skills to the level of automaticity by measuring pace and accuracy, enabling students to realize permanent gains and master foundational reading skills for life.

Math

Global Learning Center utilizes a systematic approach to help struggling students develop mathematical proficiency. For each skill area and level, students build conceptual knowledge (terms), computational fluency (operations), and strategic competence (word problems).

From Kindergarten Math to 12th grade Calculus, GLC prescribes content to match the skill levels of all students. Skills are trained to a level of mastery that ensures permanent skill development. The individualized instruction lets students systematically target areas of weakness.

Test Prep

SAT / ACT Prep

Global Learning Center offers individualized, comprehensive SAT and ACT test preparations. Our program provides the skills, strategies, and practice needed for higher test scores on college entrance exams.

Students work one-on-one with a certified teacher to receive personalized and tailored instruction. Along with test taking strategies, lessons are based on whether the individual student needs academic tutoring, test preparation skills, or both.

High School Equivalency

A High School Certification can open many doors and lead to a better life. Global Learning Center offers individualized instruction in preparation for the exam.

Our vision is to provide educational opportunities to enable an individual to pursue higher levels of education and/or secure jobs to allow him/her to become successful and contributing members of society.
